Khiva blue and white ikat table runner

Our wonderful artisans make these beautiful and authentic Ikat table runners using the same process of ikat dyeing and weaving as our ancestors did centuries ago.

Usually Uzbek ikat textiles are best to be dry cleaned. For our table runners we chose washable ikat fabrics. We ran a wash test before we used this fabric for making a table decor. As with any dining table decor there is a great risk of getting it soiled with spills. We wanted to create a product which is hand washable and which would not result in additional dry clean costs.

Front fabric: luxurious hand-dyed and hand-woven artisanal Uzbek silk/cotton ikat fabric

Back fabric: natural cotton fabric
