Product code: Ikat_bowls

Availability: Out of stock

Quick Overview:

A rare find in a flee market - blue ikat bowls made in the Soviet days. These vintage ikat porcelain were made at Tashkent Porcelain Factory which no longer exists. We picked bowls in the best condition - no cracks, no chips. The bowls have been used in the past but are still in a very good condition.

There is a golden rim around the edge of each bowl which qualifies them as "hand wash" and "no microwave".

In a treasure hunt in a flee market you find all kind of things, these bowls are some of them. We bought them in a flee market in Uzbekistan and fell in love with them instantaneously. The bowls have been used in the past but are in a good condition. You can use them to serve food - they are designed as a practical household item - or as a decorative item. We estimate the age of these bowls as at least 30 years. They definitely date back to the Soviet times.
