Little girl's treasure box

Actual size: 2.24" (5.7 cm) in diameter, 1.26" (3.2 cm) in height.

This happy red box would make a beautiful gift for a little girl to store her first earrings or a necklace. As most of the boxes on this site, this one is made of a durable paper-mache. It is processed to have a smooth surface (versus “wrinkly“ surface). The box was hand painted in traditions of Uzbek ornamental painting and covered with several layers of lacquer for shine and protection. The flower stems of the lid painting were painted in liquid bronze.
