This is a traditional suzanne wall hanging made in Urgut (Samarkand province) region of Uzbekistan. Suzannes are widely used in everyday life for decorative purposes. The suzanne is about 10 years old. It is entirely hand embroidered.

Fabric base: cotton
Actual size: 47.3“ x 39.3“ (120 cm x 100 cm)
Care instructions: dry clean only
Lining: the suzanne is fully lined with a cotton fabric.
Condition: there are several stains on the suzanne as shown below. One can still pencil marks from the time when the design of the suzanni was created. Embroidery of upper left corner flower was half finished (click on the main image to view). Overall, the condition of the embroidery is good.
