Actual size: 71“x18” (180cm x 48cm)

Traditional ikat with a modern twist! This is a cotton scarf in weaving of which the fabric maker used golden lurex (metallic yarn) in weft threads.

This COTTON Ikat scarf was hand dyed and hand woven in Fergana Valley of Uzbekistan using a centuries old technique of ikat weaving. The technique requires precision in tying and wrapping threads before dying in order to create a desired pattern. Number of times threads will be tied and wrapped depends on the complexity of ikat pattern and number of colors involved in the design.

Care instructions: dry clean only. Cool iron if needed.
