The golden background of the center flower was created by laying a thin golden foil and then painting the flower on it.  Flower stems of the barrette were painted in liquid bronze. The barrette was covered with several layers of lacquer for shine and protection.  This barrette like most of the barrettes sold by UzbekAlive has 3 levels of metal clip adjustment.  Due to this adjustment feature our barrettes are great for ladies with very thick hair - they actually hold the hair.
