This barrette was hand-painted in Tashkent, Uzbekistan by Koshib Omonov in traditions of Uzbek ornamental painting. Part of the barrette border was dotted in liquid bronze. The barrette was covered with several layers of lacquer for shine and protection.
The barrette has three levels of metal clip adjustment (see image below), due to which this barrette can hold both thin and thick hair.
